"After 30 years of looking at the same walls and color schemes, I decided it was time to update my home. I was ready, but where to I begin? I called Doreen, and she began by advising me to take pictures of the rooms and email them to her. In the meantime she told me to look through some home décor magazines and pick out things that appealed to me.
Doreen held my hand throughout the entire process. Once we got the new paint on the walls, I was hooked. She sorted through things I had, helping me choose what I should keep or throw away. I don't handle change well, but with Doreen's guidance this was fun. Now I have a beautiful new living space that better reflects me and my style…Frank Lloyd Wright. Who knew what some basic changes in color and features could do? Doreen did!"

Entry Way
An entry way can set the stage for the entire house. Picture frame windows, gorgeous iron sconces and a lime stone topped buffet make the most of this entrance. You can tell the story of your home within the first few steps. |

Dining Room
This small dining room boasts of layered lighting and an accent wall flanked by built in china cabinetry. Due to space limitations we used a clever design trick. By using 12” deep wall cabinets in place of traditional 24” deep base cabinets we reduced the amount of space used by 12 inches, making our dining room appear less crowded. Covering the cabinet surfaces with granite and using seeded glass for upper cabinets creates a sumptuous place to dine. A simple sisal carpet doesn't clutter the space with pattern yet leaves the room feeling tailored and well dressed. |

Bathroom Retreat
By adding a stained glass window, crown molding and a rich paint color, this ordinary bathroom became a luxurious retreat. Bead board is inexpensive and gives real charm to any room. |

Living Room
A challenge but not impossible. This small room has several openings, making furniture placement an issue. Having to float furniture in a small space can be a challenge, so we used swivel recliners, small in scale, and a loveseat with two recliners. The built-in behind the loveseat houses all the electronic equipment. Mirroring the back of the built-in adds depth to the room as well as the monochromatic color choice. |

Powder Room
Have fun with a downstairs powder room. This powder room is small in size, big in impact. A mahogany medicine chest, surrounded by the rich jewel tones in the stained glass lighting gives this little room a touch of elegance. The oval stained glass window grabs the colors from the tiles to create a uniform design. A damask wall covering warms the room and adds another touch of sparkle. |
